Close-body protection (executive protection) and Counter Assault Team (CAT) operations is a nuanced balance between presence, force capability, and the physical and mental preparedness to protect the safety and well-being of those we are assigned to cover at all costs. BSC provides training that is realistic and designed to properly prepare the protection professional for whatever may come their way. This course is designed with the intent to provide sustainment training and updated protective security techniques to an active team, but can be tailored to train up a new team/agent before they begin protective operations.
Students will be trained in a variety of topics within protective security operations, including but not limited to:
- Operational Planning: route reconnaissance, hard points, evacuation procedures, etc
- Conducting arrivals and departures
- Counter-terrorism driving techniques
- Protective formations
- Attack response / Cover & Evacuate
- Firearms techniques in protective security operations and room entry tactics
- Mindset preparedness
BSC will work closely with the client to ensure that the operational needs are met through a well-designed and tailored training program. The programs BSC provides can be tailored to any size protection detail, from the simple one agent “bodyguard” style of protection, to a multi-agent counter assault team.
